The Serb, Novak Djokovic, has joined rival Rafael Nadal in the ATP World Tour Finals semi-finals after defeating Juan Martin Del Potro.
The Tough Battle
Defending champion Novak Djokovic booked his place in the semis with a 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 victory over Del Potro.
The 26 year old tennis player got some hard smashes from Del Potro before stretching away in the deciding set. For Djokovic, his match with Del Potro is not easy.
After extending his winning streak to 19 matches over the Argentine, Djokovic said in an interview that he was playing the best tennis of his season. He also added that most players are now exhausted, physically and mentally, and he finds this as a perfect opportunity for him to get extra motivated and deliver good plays if needed.
Despite the defeat, Del Potro can still make it through the semis, but he will have to give Federer a hard fight on Saturday.
